The solution is the world’s first Precision All-Wheel Steer (P-AWS) system, which on the front wheel drive RLX allows each rear wheel to independently adjust its toe angle to achieve exceptional stability in turns. A Hybrid Without Peer
The engine for all RLX models is a 3.5-liter, 310-horsepower V-6 engine that features Direct Gas Injection, Variable Cylinder Management™ and the Acura i-VTEC® system.
The 6-speed automatic transmission with Sequential SportShift paddle shifters gives you the best of both worlds by providing the convenience of precise and intuitive automatic shifting as well as shift-for-yourself control.
Sport Hybrid 3-Motor System
Pure Performance, Start to Finish
The RLX Sport Hybrid uses a modified version of the 3.5-liter, V-6 engine found in the front-drive RLX. An integral part of the Sport Hybrid drivetrain is the 7-Speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) with Sequential SportShift paddle shifters transmission. Originally developed for racing, the dual clutch design shifts faster, smoother and with greater efficiency than conventional automatic transmissions.
Tire Pressure Monitoring System
Since an under-inflated tire impedes handling and can be a safety hazard, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) uses pressure sensors mounted in each wheel that send readings to a central electronic control unit. The system then evaluates whether the pressure is up to an acceptable range.
Lane Keeping Assist
Someone to Watch over You
Momentarily distracted, you begin to drift toward the side of your lane. It happens to every driver occasionally. If the line markings are clear, the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) can help actively steer you back into the center of your detected lane.
Unique to Sport Hybrid models, the Heads-Up Display puts key information where it is easiest to view. A digital speedometer can be combined with a variety of displays from a tachometer to navigate directions. The display can be positioned vertically or turned off if you choose.
